Married Life Chats Volume X
holy smokes, how has it been two months since my last “married life chats?!” now is the perfect time for this since we are hitting the road later today to move our lives to colorado. really soak this in because of now nothing is coming out wednesday, as we will still be on the road and my weekend consisted of panic packing and not writing. maybe just read half today and then come back wednesday and read the rest? ha!
okay, let’s get to it because i have some doozies…
him: you haven’t been out of the house in 24 hours. you are going to get cabin fever baaaaad.
me: i’m an introvert. i could for daaaaays…
me: hey did you grab my medication from the bathroom for me?
him: oops. walked right in, did my hair and walked out. be right back.
me: can you get me my thing?
him: what does that mean?!
me: oh. my graham cracker.
me: sometimes i get very sad that i’ll never be friends with hermione, harry and ron and that i’ll never be enrolled at hogwarts.
him: hahaha
me: no. it’s not funny. stop laughing. it’s like a deep, dark sadness i have…
related note: when we visited the actual harry potter studios in london! not sure if that helped or hurt my sadness though…
me: it’s my last year in 20s. i don’t know how to feel.
him: oh man, that’s so sad…but it’s also a great opportunity!
me: omg. #married-to-a-motivational-speaker.

him: i’ve never said “i love you” to anyone before you.
me: then you haven’t lived!
*he comes in, talking really fast while quickly saying…
him: i know you’ll try to convince me otherwise and i’ll probably compromise and take one off BUT wearing these bracelets make me feel very balanced.
me: (while laughing hysterically) remove those immediately.

I was going to say, “Hey, I know those bracelets!” hahaha!
But honestly, the sadness is so so so real about Ron, Hermione, & Harry. But actually Ginny and Luna- I think they’d have been my bffs 🙂

Introverts unite! Andrew and I had a funny conversation – or maybe it was more of a we’re so dumb conversation thinking we’d be geniuses after having a 5 minute conversation on a machine that will let you know who called you when you aren’t home. Thankfully we figured out that it’s called an answering machine…duh!
