Happy Friday + White Plum Giveaway!
yay it’s friday and it’s exactly one week away from the day after christmas! that should be celebrated, right? right! i am cozied up in the beautiful state of colorado currently wishing for snow to fall within the next week.

when this ellendale cowl neck sweater arrived, i immediately had to put it on and never wanted to take it off. it’s super soft, made in the USA and best yet…it fits my ginormous wingspan of arms!
look at that sleeve length! it’s incredible really.
i think the wooden buttons add a unique touch to the collar and you don’t ever have to risk losing another scarf because it’s built-in. winning!
they feature some extra cool things like reindeer leggings, a wifestyle-esque cardigan and gorgeous dresses like this for new year’s eve. i think i know where i’ll be requesting my birthday gifts from because i’m slowing learning that fashion can be fun, fit my personality and not break the bank.

1. White lights on our tree (my kids talked me in to getting colored lights to decorate outside our house though)

it is just me and my hubby with no family in the state and we aren’t big holiday people so we don’t decorate.
i plan on crocheting, cleaning, doing laundry and going to my last fused glass jewelry class. oh, and putting together a bunch of bookshelves for my new crafting room so i can get it organized!!
i live in sweat pants at home and jeans when not working.

Cute sweater!
We use colored lights for our tree, but decoration the windows and outside in white lights (and you can see the tree through the front window).
Nothing too exciting this weekend, but we did just book a trip to Portland for my husband’s birthday! I tried searching if you had a post on things to do in Portland, but didn’t see anything pop up. Anything great to recommend?

the sweater is soooo comfy courtney! i totally work it 2.5 days in a row 🙂 ohhh it totally love passing by houses where you can see the tree in the window-well done!
yay portland! i mention random things about portland things but should do a list! i’ll get on that. in the mean time…if you have a car drive to multnomah falls about 35 minutes from portland, eat at mother’s bistro for brunch, get drinks downtown on a rooftop at ‘departure’ and walk along the waterfront! have fun!

I am a fan of white lights! I love how “golden” they make our tree appear! Since I had Evolette, sweaters are my go-to wardrobe staple! I’d love to add one from White Plum!

totally agree kendra (although my hubs prefers the colorful lights). yeees for sweaters being your go-to too! i will say that the sweater i’m wearing is SO soft so both you and evolette will enjoy it 🙂

1) No Christmas trees for me and my hubby, yet. But I love both! We currently have the white ones strung up along our living room ceiling.
2) Currently in the backseat of my husband’s car with our cat, driving up to Ohio to visit our family. Wedding tomorrow, and brunch with a bunch of close friends from “back home” on Sunday. So, busy weekend!
3) The clothes I’m currently wearing (perfect travel wear): basic tee, oversized sweater, leggings, and Uggs.

I really like the buttons on the collar! That sweater definitely looks great on you. The color of Christmas lights is a great divide between me and Angel. He likes multicolored lights and I like only white and blue lights. It’s a problem.
