me: wait, did you cut the crust off your sandwich too?
him: yeah! atlas is onto something – it’s like SO much better!

him: i don’t like any scary movies – at all.
me: i like some of them.
him: like what?
me: well..um..i dunno..does pretty little liars count?

him: sometimes you look like te ka and sometimes you look like te fiti.
me: um. thank you?

me: so what movie have you picked for us to watch?
him: don’t judge me.
me: whenever you start with that, i immediately get excited to judge you.
him: princess diaries.
me: hahahahah (which was a surprisingly good movie)

him: you know i haven’t eaten any of those doritos, right?
me: yeah. i know. i gave three chips to atlas so you couldn’t say i ate the whole bag myself.

him: do you want to play cards when atlas goes to bed?
me: i don’t think that would be good for our marriage.
him: why? because i always win?
me: *walks away and flips the bird*

me: you are annoyingly good at drawing cartoons with chalk.
him: thanks! i won first place at the rodeo once.
me: ummm, what does that have to do with drawing?
him: oh – it was the art show at the rodeo.
me: hahaha you would.
