I cannot believe it’s been just over a year since I’ve launched ‘the new wifestyle!’ Blows my mind. Thank you to everyone that has encouraged me, supported me and read about my adventures through life and marriage. I am in the midst of changing up the site and would love to get your feedback and opinions about what you like and what you’d like to see.

Actually, the above picture is just as my mom helped me into my wedding dress and moments before the fire alarm went off before my ‘first-look’ with my soon-to-be-husband (when the entire lodge witnessed our private moment and make out session). The finger pointing was at my mother as I lovingly told her not to cry or I would be forced to tackle her at the moment.

As a thank you, here is an adorable picture of my husband reenacting his first plane ride when he was about 4 or 5. Please note the wings, Raggedy Andy and the Fritos. I am also not allowed to look at that picture of him when he was little for too long because it’s about the only thing that makes me contemplate having kids sooner than later!
